Moldings to choose from:

Antique Gold and Antique Silver

Our two most popular pre finished moldings are the Antique Gold and Silver, both of these go beautifully with any room setting.

Contemporary Moldings

We have two Tulip wood moldings that give this traditional art of preserving flowers a modern look. They have a flat finish, which suits a contemporary setting.

Plain Moldings

We also offer a plain wood molding that can be finished to your specification, so that it complements the furnishing of the room where you plan to display your flowers.

Finishes range from colored water stains that can be limed to oil stains such as rosewood or oak, which are then French polished. Or how about a rich pine with a bees wax finish for the country house feel. These moldings also look great with either a gold or silver slip.

Frame Size

Size and shape of the frame will depend on how you wish to show your flowers.

For instance if you have a large teardrop shape bouquet then one of the larger rectangular frames such as the 16 x 20 or 12 x 16 would be suitable. But if you have a large poise shape then maybe turning the above sizes into a square would be better showing all the flower heads straight on, see examples in the portfolio. Equally if you have a smaller bouquet or do not want to display all the flowers we can scale down to fit any of the smaller frames. It really is your choice.

Corsages, headdresses and brides maid flowers can also be displayed in any of the frames from the smallest 6 x 8 all the way through to the larger sizes. These all make superb gifts, for mums, dads and grandmothers a lovely memory of a special day.

How can I decide?

Do not worry if the choice of frame seems very daunting. A decision does not have to be made when you make your booking. When you visit us you can see examples and then make your choice. Even when your flowers are delivered to us you do not have to decide at this stage. The preserving stage of your flowers will take a number of weeks and we do not need to know the type of frame at this stage as the frames are usually only made once the flowers have been preserved.
